I am accessing the HLS stream for TVE and running it through TVHeadEnd to feed into Plex. However, plex has an issue on android with the AAC-HE codec. When DVR Channels does the transcoding, can I set which codec's it uses or prefers? My DVR Channels server has a hardware transcoder in it, and the TVHeadEnd VM does not. Is it possible to change the codec that DVR channels transcodes to?
Yes you can add acodec=aac or acodec=mp3 to the url.

acodec=mp3 fixed the aac-he (plex) issue.
