Audio glitch on iOS and tvOS

Just recently (maybe the last couple of weeks) I have noticed a very odd audio glitch sometimes when I stop watching either live or recorded tv in channels. It’s repeatable. Just set a video stream going then on iOS press be home button on the device or on tvOS press the home button to exit. Where the audio used to fade gracefully it now does a weird echo chamber style thing. Works the same across iPad, iPhone and Apple TV 4K.

This is on iOS 11 and tvOS 11 latest public releases and latest public build of channels.

Actually, I take that back. There is an updated version of the app that seems to have resolved the issue for me.

Is the new version you refer to a beta or public? I have the latest public releases on both iOS and tvOS and am still seeing this issue.

Public. Version 2.2. Released June 26, I believe.

Aha. Got it now. All my devices updated since I made the post and it is indeed fixed in the latest release. Thanks all!

Glad it’s fixed. In the future, please post the version number shown in the app when reporting bugs.

Public 3.2 is fine but the latest beta 6.10.1951 has the issue.
