Is there a way to enable audio pass-through for the new Local Content feature?
You will have to be more specific about what kind of audio codecs you're trying to play and what the desired and actual behavior is.
In general, no, Apple TV does not have pass through for audio.
Different codecs are treated differently. Knowing which ones you’re speaking of would be helpful to answer it.
I’m trying to play sound tracks in Dolby Atmos. Are there other streaming devices that would be able to do that?
I don’t know if this may help but I can play Dolby Atmos using Apple TV with the Apple TV app.
