I just installed my HDHR4 Connect and on my ATV4 that is on AC WiFi I get a brief moment of audio static when I tune to a channel. It isn’t happening on my one that is hard wired.
And to add to that, while troubleshooting I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it charged me the $24.99 again?
It’s unlikely that you would have been charged twice if you already own the app on your Apple ID. You can check https://reportaproblem.apple.com
Not sure about the static, never heard of anyone else experiencing that before. If it’s only over wifi it might be a weak wifi signal.
I’ll play around with it and see if I can figure it out. I have a strong 5Ghz wifi signal. I have a couple other routers I can try out.
It was the surround sound setting. Once I turned that off I no longer heard static when tuning to a channel.
