Audio Sync issues

My setup: AppleTV 4th gen on tvOS Beta 11, HDHomerun Extend

I am not using compression and have that feature set to NONE in both Channels Settings and my HDHomerun Settings.

I’m experiencing audio sync issues on most channels. It’s rather annoying to hear the audio slightly ahead of seeing the persons lip move. Is there any way to adjust this?

Is your Apple TV wired or on wifi? What speed is your wifi router?

I’m connecting via Wi-Fi through a netgear orbi router on 5 GHz band

Is it 802.11 N or AC? Do you know what kind of throughput you’re getting? Try the SpeedTest app. Be be aware this tests your internet speeds so it will only test as fast as your internet speeds. But it’s still a decent test to try.

Free app on iOS: Wi-Fi Sweetspots tests within your local setup. To find you must filter on “iPhone only” in the app store, but you can use on iPad.

AC. I usually get between 290 and 3 11 Mb per second throughput using speed test . I subscribe to spectrum Lightning 300 service.

Can you try the free app InstaTV to compare?

The problem is most pronounced on WESH reall channel 11 virtual channel 2.1. I can confirm that using InstaTV or PLEX Live TV solves the issue.

Can you send a sample from that channel to [email protected]?

Say your tuner is 10.0.0.5 and an example channel is 745, visit this URL in Chrome to download a 30s sample:
