Automatically switch to the guide channel if I’m watching a recorded show that’s within 2 mins of “live”, and the recording ends.
Pseudo logic would be something like:
When recording ends, if recording stop time is >= now()-2m: switch to live of the recorded channel.
Could also add a user configurable flag to disable / enable the feature and call it something like “follow up”.
The scenario is I’m watching a recording and have caught up to realtime while watching (commercial breaks!), but the next show has piqued my interest and I want to keep going. Yes, I can do it manually, but this seems like having a dog and barking yourself!
