I’m running the Channels DVR server on my M1 MacBook Pro and I have installed the Auto-Wake Helper. When my MacBook goes to sleep the Channels app can no longer find the DVR server. Occasionally the DVR server will be found, but all channels give me the Tuner Not Available error.
The DVR has to be running if you want to use Channels app.
The auto wake only kicks in for making recordings. If you want to watch and use the dvr, don't let the computer sleep.
