I've added an Action in OliveTin-for-Channels to check for, and update to, the latest CDVR Server pre-release.
You specify the interval and the server will be checked to see if it's busy, and if it isn't, an update to the latest pre-release will be performed:
Multiple CDVR servers can be set up, and this or any other Actions that run on a recurring basis, will show with a green CDVR icon along with the date they were first initiated:
