Bad Reception = Bad Recording and Playback

I am having issues with recording CBS off my hdhomerun, all of a sudden I have reception issues. So when they happen, the Channels DVR playback of the recording just freezes and fails. Then the app just restarts. (Chromecast w/ Google TV)

On my Android phone, it works, but I Only get audio, no video. This is only on HDhomerun recorded content.

I should also mention, I was also having issues with the HDHomerun App for that specific channels. I turned on "use AC3 passthrough when possible" and that solved the problem on hdhomerun, but I still have playback issues with Channels DVR.

On Android, the black screen with audio it means your device does not support MPEG2 native playback.
In the Channels app settings, change the Decoder to Hybrid or Software.
