Bad Recording?

My wife was watching The Bachelorette (ugh) last night, it was an in-progress recoding via my HDHomeRun Extend. She was on our iPad with the beta Channels DVR app. the recording just started showing gray blocks in 1 vertical in the middle of the screen, then a horizontal one, then the app crashed. In the Web Player, the transcoder just stops, and says Finished very quickly. If I try and watch via the web player, the log says repeatedly:

this is the first time we’ve experienced something like this. homeruns are fed via qam from fios.

Sounds like the recording is badly corrupted. Usually that happens because of a bandwidth/network issue between then HDHR and DVR.

thanks for the fast response. bandwidth/network have never been a problem before, so odd. oh well.
