Balancing for Virtual Channels

I would love for there to be a way to balance or weight the shows in a Virtual Channel. For example, if I have 2 shows, one with many seasons and one with few, I may end up seeing way more of the show with few episodes (particularly if I choose the mini-marathon). I can see situations where other sorts may feature show with more episodes too. I found this feature in Tunarr as it's described:

Attempts to balance programming groups by either total lineup duration or number of unique programs. For instance, for a channel with many seasons of one show and few seasons of another, balancing will attempt to create an even mix of both shows by inserting repeats of the show with fewer episodes.

Bumping this to maybe get it some more exposure!

I've got a virtual channel with grown up cartoons like The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Futurama, The Critic, etc... and The Simpsons with 30+ seasons just overwhelms every other show.

Balancing might be a bit too much programmatically, so maybe just some new sort options would be good enough. In the above example, a sort option that just cycled through one episode at a time from each show (randomly or in order) would be a game changer.

What sort are you using?

In Mini Marathon mode it should be balanced.

I eventually started using mini marathon because that specific virtual channel was basically a de facto Simpsons channel otherwise! But for the kind of channel this one is, I think it'd work better not to have the same show back to back to back.

A new sort order option exactly like mini-marathon that just played a single episode instead of three would be ideal.

So what sort are you using currently?

Still using mini marathon because, as I said, that channel is a de facto Simpsons channel otherwise. I'll skip ahead though when I'm in the mood for more of a variety.

I've considered going in and maybe just having the virtual channel use the first five seasons of each show, for example, to keep it balanced then putting it on random because, let's be honest, that would still be a pretty great channel since most of the best episodes of those shows were at the beginning!

Something is wonky with my mini marathon schedule. Not sure if it's how PnR is matched, but I get this repeated block (s6e21 & s0e12) every other block.
