Best / Easiest way to pull NBC and Fox5 local into Channels

I'm not exactly a big fan of those no name antennas. Usually they're Chinese made pieces of crap. Something like this would probably do

Get an antenna from a reputable company like Winegard, antennas direct, Antop, Televes and Channel Master

The antenna you have is on the cheap side but hey it works. Its so cheap that if it breaks or you decide you need that other channel then just replace it with a better one.

i'm not going overboard on an antenna for just 2 channels etc This is working for now for cheap waiting on HD Homerun as final test

Got an older HDHR5 Connect Duo I can tune the 2 required channels "ok" 5-1 (Fox) shows signal quality is around 58% same for 4-1 (NBC) signal strength shows 77% and up Symbol is at 100% for all. After more research most websites recommend a small directional antenna with a Pre-Amp I found an RCA pre amp for $25 and it includes an FM filter as well as LTE 5G filters so I will get the ladder out later after Amazon shows up and see if that helps etc may swap antenna to the GE model I picked up for $35 while ladder is up etc.

Advice still applies:

I'm planning on installing an antenna this week too.
I have the antenna, LTE/5G filter, HDHR, and Antenna Man's signal meter. Now need to make the time for it and find the right location in the attic.

whats with all the firmwares on that site????

Check out the iOS/iPadOS app "Signal GH" - this provides real-time measurements like the SiliconDust items. I use this to look at signal levels from those devices.

Android Only No Ipads or Iphones

Project is complete Installed the GE antenna with the RCA Amplifier/ LTE 5G filter and the HD Homerun Connect Duo ....All channels tune very well now. So I'm done for now......I hope

Its not bad. Hopefully for you, it'll last but I'm glad you got a good setup in order to stop relying too much on TVE to get locals...

RCA pre-amp is a sleeper - good and cheap. Ran one myself for years. Good luck!
