what is the best time to scan the non iptv sources like directv, hulu, fubotv , sling etc..? thank you

Well but there are certain times when i scan that i get more channels then others, why is that? And is there anything i can do to increase the odds of obtaining as many channels as possible? Thanks in advance!
Instead of rescanning the entire source, rescan the missing channels one at a time individually. Doing it this way will keep the ones that have authenticated already.

Is it okay to scan for new channels while the guide is updating?
I have never had to full scan for sources since initial setup years back.
Only time is when Xfinity TVE issues required removing and readding.
I have used Re-scan for New Channels once or twice with Philo after a i read they added a few channels.
HDHR auto scans every few days... the Docker containers for Pluto and Samsung etc, also auto updates daily.
