O? but the channel number grids were not selectable before On Later feature was introduced and clicking on them activates On Later...so i fail to see how they are not related.
For what it's worth, I've experienced similar grid scrolling issues before this new change to the functionality of the channel number cell, before this new introduction of On Later. Just adding some data points because correlation does not always imply causation.
i will admit i do not go into the live tv guide as often as i used to however...this IS a new issue that just appeared for me along with, at the same exact time, On later.
Android TV does NOT have this issue, and it also does not have On later...so....
Logically, it is a sound conclusion that they are related.

dont know what is so hard to understand or why there is so much argument over the cause. and why it is subjext to sarcastic, but funny quips by others.

Rollback to a build that does not have On later and highlightable Channel cell blocks, the bug does not exist.
Seems to me, when they made them selectable, and thus scrollable when implementing On Later functionality, they did not set something right for those table cells to be, sticky, or honor the page scroll position lock, whatever they call it, that the normal program cells have that trigger the page to scroll with user selection remaining on screen.
Either way, the devs know about it, so that is what matters.
hope they fix it soon, it is quite annoying a bug.
i am actually kind of liking this new On later feature.

I am only reporting on the bug that when scrolling with the number cells selected, not the rest of the guide. I have not had any vertical scroll issues with the Guide until this new feature of the number cells.
The only scrolling issues that I have had that exist on both Apple TV and Android TV, have been there since day one, for years now, and was documented on before, in that, horizontally, the selected program will jump seeming randomly to a different time block, and seems to be related to the offset of long program blocks in the guide vs when it goes down to the next channel and it is a shorter one, or vs versa. Its erratic, and not happen often, but it does happen.
That, I would say is a different issue and not related to the recent changes to add On Later.
Christ. We opened up selecting the channel cell because we had a new feature to use with it. It has created some bugs since we never had this enabled previously.
But the scrolling issues have nothing to do with if On Later is on or not.
Correlation doesn’t prove causation.
We’ll fix the scrolling bugs. But it will 100% have nothing to do with if On Later is enabled or not.

Thanks! I noticed that in the last change. I'm gonna do another pass on it this week. What's weird is, we're already de-duping programs on these results. So I think these all have unique IDs which will be tricky.

Program ID's or Series ID's?
If I use the first duplicated ones in the list, the SeriesID is the same, but the ProgramID changes to reflect the epoch time of the airings.

And since these are 'Specials', the rest of the dupes would be the same thing.
Yep, airings are de-duped by program ID, this is the problem here. These specials are coded differently.
This is resolved in the latest pre-release.
