I run channels dvr on a mac mini connected via ethernet with wifi on (in order to take advantage of airdrop, unlock, etc).

with wifi on, i seem to have the luck that all clients will connect to the wifi interface instead of the wired interface. obviously its not ideal so i turn off wifi.

Can we get an bind interface option like plex and emby?

  • Channels shows 2 interfaces, displays the wired one but clients connect to teh wifi interface

I’ve set my WiFi interface to not have an IP address to allow it to be turned on for airdrop but not ever be used for LAN traffic.

interesting, ill give it a shot. it works for you while showing the exclamation point on the wifi icon? thanks.

Correct. I did this because I found sometimes connections from my Mac to other computers (network shares) would use the WiFi instead of the Ethernet. This stopped that from happening.
