I would like to use Channels DVR as my movie media server streamer and was wondering if it is capable of bit for bit video streaming, even in 4k hdr? Plex uses hardware transcoding which degrades the image quality. I’m hoping this isn’t the case with Channels DVR.

If you set the Streaming Quality to Original it will not transcode.
