Browse Guide by Source on Client Devices

Good morning, I like to view the Channels based on the source in the Guide. This is default behavior on the HTML client but the only way I've been able to do this on other client devices (e.g. Apple TV) is by creating a Channel Collection for each source and then setting the client up to use those Channel Collections.

This process has presented me with a couple of questions:
Is there a better way to do this?

Is there a way to automatically update the Channel Collection based on new/updated/deleted channels for that source?

Source filtering for the guide is not something that's supported in the clients, as you've seen.

There is not. But this is something we need to get in there to give a bit more freedom for building Channel Collections. We have no plans on adding a source picker in the guide in the clients, but with this, at least, you can build your own.
