If you leave the app from the Recordings screen by pressing menu until your back at the main ATV screen and then relaunch the app you start in Settings instead of Recordings. The same actions from any other screen in Channels returns you to the prior screen.
I wondered how I ended up in settings!
Edit: I confirmed this as well as an addition. If I am looking at the recordings list of a show and use the “tv” button to go out to the arc home screen( I set the button back to the home screen)
When I click the channels icon, I’m taken back to where I was, but clicking the menu once takes me to settings too.
I’ll just add that it happens to me whenever the screensaver kicks in as well. I can’t recall this happening pre-DVR though.
