BUG - Being able to select the proper channel for recordings

Sometimes when I setup a series recording it picks the wrong channel to record from and there is no way to specify the source channel for recordings from "manage your series pass"
I uploaded a screenshot of Planet Earth II. I also get this issue with MotorWeek, it grabs the lesser quality version from PBS.
I know this was feature of MCE when setting up recordings and hopefully this can be added to Channels.

Within the DVR web interface you can edit the pass to select the specific channel, in this case the HD channel, you want to record. I agree though, that it’d be nice to be able to set this thru the channels UI on the ATV or iOS.

I agree that we need that in the UI as well. I also see that that channel is the only one with the “new” tag on the episode.

I noticed this too but like mentioned, if you go to the pass in the web interface, click the chevron next to the show and select advanced, you can then add a “channel” condition and just put the HD channel in. Hope this helps.

I agree it would be nice when creating a new pass to give a channel priority.
