I'm using Channels 6.0.1 on my Apple TV and have setup CEC commands using
General > Remote Shortcuts > Red Button
Toggling closed captions turns this on but doesn't switch it off. I assume the desired effect is on and off? Anyone else have this?

No this still doesn't work at all now. Also tried downgrading to the version 1516 you mentioned and it's the same for me.
Are you seeing it not work at all now?
Yeah and I checked the info menu and it has subtitles/captions and nothing gets selected now on the toggle.
Yep, the issue is that it's getting triggered multiple times. It was fixed for key presses for the shortcuts, but not the actual CEC button presses.
We'll get it fixed today.
