For a while now, I've been having recordings fail occasionally with an error which seems to be related to non-English characters: "Failed: open .mpg: illegal byte sequence". (I've been trying to figure out a pattern of characters that triggers it, but it's appeared kind of unpredictable to me...)
Any chance you could just implement some kind of check where if it throws that error, it could replace the problematic characters with underscores or something? Or truncating? Or even just renaming to a generic filename? I'll take anything!
Thank you.
