My apologies if this question/topic has been asked elsewhere on the forms, but I couldn't find an answer.
Anyway, my question is how often does the system re-check your account credentials? Is it a once a week, daily, monthly, etc? The reason I am asking is that I am using my parents login while am away as College and Spectrum like to act funny if you have their internet and use another Spectrum account credentials to watch live TV. How I've gotten around this I temporarily turn on a VPN on the PC the Channels DVR is running on, setup the TV Everywhere source using my parents login, and it got me past the road blocks I was running into. Now I am going to turn off the VPN on the device and continue to use the device like normal, but didn't know how long I had until the system needed to re-auth my login credentials. Because I am sure whenever it does it'll break again and I'll have to do my VPN workaround.
