I have Dish as my primary source for Channels DVR and would like to shift the guide/lineup from PST to CST or EST so that programs are plaid a few hours earlier, so that I can run them thru my comskip program which can take up to 3 hours to remove commercials on a 1 hour shows.
Any way to make these shows record 2-3 hours earlier than the PST time slot?
No, that's not how it works. The network sites determine which feed you get (Eastern vs. Pacific, sometimes both), and the guide aligns with those streams. Except for local feeds, I don't believe anyone sends Central feeds.
