Can I move or archive a video to external NAS storage?

My NAS only has so much storage where I have it set to retain the last 3 episodes. There are occasionally times I'd like to keep the video forever, by moving it to external storage because I don't want them tying up my workable NAS storage.

I do have an external drive on my NAS and I can manually move the video to that drive from within the NAS files app ok, but it would be great to be able to use the Channel's interface to move or archive desired video's to different drive source for archiving. Is this possible?

In the Channels settings I have already added the additional drive as an additional source but I don't see any way to actually move any existing recordings to that drive source. Am I missing something or is it just not possible?

The setting is just to tell Channels where to look for files in its recording database; it is up to you to manually move the files there from your primary location to those secondary places.

So, no, you are not missing something. But, it is not possible within the Channels app to have it move the recordings; that part of the process you must do yourself.
