Can not open settings page, but Channels still working fine

Been running for 6 months, working great.

Can not open the SETTINGS page.

I was trying to refresh channels from Direct TV Stream since some had problems this week, but not all. After an hour, I finally forced a shut down to get out of that. Appeared to be hungup.

Here is my setting page : http://garys-macbook-pro.local:8089/admin/settings
And I get this error message. This site can’t be reached
garys-macbook-pro.local’s DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem.

Suggestions?

Channels working fine on Firestick and Iphone
Have rebooted computer that serves as server. MAC

Try browsing by ip instead of dns name and see if that gives you a bwtter result

Last answer did not fix it, but did lead me to a solution. I did have a tab open like this which of course did not work either.

http://192.168.1.169:8089/troubleshooting

Then I googled to find out what my LOCAL IP address was for my computer and put the correct IP address from the above. It then gave me all sorts of "stuff". I then deleted the "troubleshooting" and BINGO - back in business.

Side note : It might be somewhere in the support pages, but I could not find anywhere how to load the CHANNELS SETTINGS page. Pretty basic stuff, but....

There's a link on getchannels.com/account
