Can someone tell me if my hardware setup is good enough for Channels Plus DVR?

Hdhomerun Connect Duo
Linksys WRT1900acs router with
a 1TB Seagate external hard drive
plugged into a USB 3.0 port

The hard drive should be plugged into the DVR, and the DVR + Connect wired to the same switch with ethernet. If doing this over wifi with a hard drive connected to the wifi router, you will have issues.

Hi,
Thanks for the response. I can't plug the external hard drive into the Hdhomerun DVR because it has no usb ports, only an ethernet port.

The DVR is your Windows 10 server.

EDIT:
HDHomeRun, Windows10PC are connected separately to a single ethernet switch.
Hard Drive is connected USB to PC.
Channels DVR runs on the PC and writes to the hard drive.
