Can’t create pass for Coronation Street

Hi

I’m currently trialing Channels DVR in the UK in hope that it works better than Plex DVR.

When I create a pass to record all new episodes on Coronation Street, it adds no future recordings to the schedule. When I edit the pass and tell it to record all episodes (not just new ones) it then works. However, it also adds episodes on ITV3 that first aired over 20 years ago.

How can I create a pass that just records new airings on ITV HD on Monday’s, Wednesdays and Fridays?

The problem is that Coronation Street is not marked as 'New' in the guide data. Hopefully the guide data can be fixed. That's outside of Channels' control, but sometimes they can forward issues to the guide data provider.

In the meantime you can get around it (partially) by telling Channels to record only on a specific channel. In the Web UI, go to the DVR section, then the Passes tab. Find your pass for Coronation Street, click on the triangle and select Advanced. Next to Conditions, click the plus sign, select Channel and enter the channel number to record on (103 for HD, 3 for SD). If the 'New' tag is also set as a condition, delete it. Then click Save Rule.
