Just the title, mainly. I've wondered for a long time, but I'm finally remembering to ask. None of my searches on "nickname", "rename", "sources", etc. turned up any hits.

No, it’s used as the unique identifier of the source after you make it.
Wouldn't a db REPLACE function be able to swap it with a new Nickname if need be? If so, or if there's a similar fix, would it be something for which I can open a Feature Request in the appropriate section?
