Can't connect remotely with android app after moving server

I moved my channels dvr to a new server (NAS). the forwarding is changed on my router. I can get there remotely using a browser and watch content. However, the android app will not connect. it asks me if i am away from home etc.... tells me to authenticate and brings up the chrome authentication window.... switches back to the app and says Welcome to Channels DVR, your DVR is not quite setup, visit this URL in your browser to complete it.. gives a URL at this point. I can click try again, connect to channels dvr, etc... doesn't work. I can type that URL it gives me in a browser and watch content. I have cleared the app storage.... no go..

Any ideas?

Make sure old dvr has remote access disabled.

Then reboot router and check port forward settings

does it need to specifically be disabled, it is no longer running... will that do?

Rebooted my router. Checked port forwarding. Channels tells me "Remote connection established successfully." deinstalled / reinstalled the android app. Same issue.

I closed the app and in the web browser clicked authorize... it launches channels and tells me DVR Access Failure. Unable to authorize remote DVR Server

Anything else I can try?

Is the port forward going to the correct IP for the dvr you want to use?

It is. I figured it out. What I had to do for some reason was logout of community in my browser and then re-login (even though there was no user/pass change). That allowed it to work.

If you have a minute, I have another post about duplicate entries... can you help with that?

Thanks
