When using Channels on iOS devices ( mainly my iPhone) I cannot creat a Pass from the guide. When I select a future show I get the show details but no option to create a pass. If I search for the show I do get the option to create a Pass. Why can’t I do it from the guide??.
That would happen if the guide data in the dvr was not setup for your hdhomerun.
First off I’m using Locast. I’ve set up Locast and it works. Have guide data listed. What else do I need to do?
Think I found the issue. I also have hdhomerun tuners but do not use them with channels. I disabled them and now I can create a pass from the guide. I looked for a way to disable them from the web interface and could not see an option other than setting priority. But in the iOS app there is that option. Did I miss it on the web app?
Sounds like a bug then. What version number is shown in the Channels app?
Are you able to click the guide and record from the dvr web UI?
Ah okay. There is not a way to disable/remove tuners. I plan to add that in the future.
Had same issue to create a pass from the web. Just updated to latest version a few minutes ago. But was using older version I installed last week when I first tried the software.
It must be getting confused by your hdhomeruns. Can you submit diagnostics from Support link at the top.
Try clicking the gear icon next to the Locast source and turn off OTA numbering, then reload guide.
Diagnostics forwarded. Everything seems to be okay now.
