Can't enable commercial detection

I can’t enable commercial detection and I thought I saw some processors cause the DVR to not detect it. any help on this would be great.

synology ds413j
cpu info: Processor : Feroceon 88FR131 rev 1 (v5l)
BogoMIPS : 1589.24
Features : swp half thumb fastmult edsp
CPU implementer : 0x56
CPU architecture: 5TE
CPU variant : 0x2
CPU part : 0x131
CPU revision : 1

Hardware : Synology 6282 board
Revision : 0000
Serial : 0000000000000000

What does it say in the OS/CPU section at the top of the DVR web UI?

both the web link and a curl of localhost:8089/system/cpu return null

Check the Log tab, search for “could not look up CPU info”

that error doesn’t show in the gui log. Where is the log on the synology? i’m assuming somewhere on var/log?

Try http://IP-of-Synology:8089/log?n=50000

/volume1/@appstore/ChannelsDVR/channels-dvr/data/channels-dvr.log

That message should show up any time the DVR software starts. It’s possible this model cpu is triggering a different type of error and no message is being printed.

Oops, wasn’t trying to beat @tmm1 to the punch, our replies overlapped.
Just don’t understand how he gets by with no sleep :grinning:
