I have a show recording (Hell's Kitchen) and it won't match for some reason. It does however have the description loaded, so it is matching somehow, but the artwork doesn't exist? Anyhow, I thought I would try to match it up again and can't find the option. Any ideas?
I may be wrong but i think that fix match is only available for imported recordings....
So if Channels recordings are getting matched incorrectly, there is no fix other than changing artwork or metadata on your own?
Fix incorrect match is available for imports because it’s essentially guessing what the content is. So there is a chance to fix it.
It’s not available for recordings because guide data is attached to the recordings so it already knows what it is.
Translation: Who is providing the guide data for that channel.
It needs to identify series and show with metadata for them.
I just had a Movie with the Wrong Match ... Charlie's Angel should be the one in 2000 .. that is what the Video is... GraceNote Guide Data.
FYI ... I had to move it to import rename to correct year and also had to delete the entry of the Newer Charlies Angels because I want to record that one too.
That's probably the issue. I'm recording from Samsung's ETV. Maybe I will try moving to import and then re-doing the match from that perspective. Thx!
