I have Tailscale running. I have tried Off/Manual/ and Automatic for the settings above with no luck.
Your client devices also need to be running Tailscale. Also, the Tailscale built-in to Channels DVR is an OK way to start, but ultimately you want to be running it on your CDVR host (rather than the "app" version) for best performance and flexibility.
Excellent - after installing and setting up TailScale on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, the Channels app works.
But I don't think this solution will work to watch using my in-car Tesla web browser...
Correct there is no way to install Tailscale on the Tesla so you need to use port forwarding 8089 on your router.
Above you show that you port forwarded on the Firewalla Gold firewall. Iām not familiar with this device but I think you need to go into your actual router and port forward 8089. Then also forward 8089 in the Firewalla. I think your router is blocking it currently and it never even makes it to the Firewalla. After you forward on both use the port checker link from earlier to check it
