Can't get remote streaming working

It is available using IP:8089, but the playback never starts.

Doesn’t matter if i’m using it on LAN using the local ip or on WAN.

The log says:

Channels is working perfectly on ATV 4K, my internet is 500/500 mbit, the server running channels is setup with full Windows 10, using a Intel i5-6500, which is idle.

At one time i could see the network being active, ie. recieving 10 mbit/s and uploading 3 mbit/s (Transcoding) , but the playback never started.

Any good ideas on how to proceed?

This looks like a bug affecting channels with teletext.

Can you start a recording on channel 5, wait two minutes and stop it, then email me the recorded file to [email protected]

Wauw you guys are fast!

You have it on email now

Futhermore i get a timeout trying to allow Remote dvr on my ATV

Make sure my.channelsdvr.net is working. If not, there may be some problem with your port forwarding.

It works remotely, buy not locally…

So my port forward works - Any ideas?

Weird it doesn’t work locally. Usually indicates some sort of problem with the router where you cannot access your own public IP.

So this is the case, my internet provider has a funny setup for static IP’s, causing my ip to be unreachable locally.
I will try to find a solution for this, but on a side note other services uses the local IP instead, so it has not been a problem before now.

Anyhow, this shouldn’t affect problem number 1, not being able to stream anything, so I look forward to your video analysis

I was able to fix the issue. A new build will be available in approximately one hour. I’ll post when it’s ready with instructions on how to update.

Ok the new build is ready. Hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and click the Check for Updates button.

Let me know if it fixes your problem.

So far so good

Regarding the other issue, I got a response from my provider, telling me this it is impossible to access my own public IP.

Is there another solution or does this mean I can’t use the DVR system at home?

The “login to remote DVR” is not for in-Home use.

At home the DVR tabs should show up automatically as the DVR server is discovered using Bonjour.

Please copy/paste the message listed under the Bonjour checkbox on the DVR web UI
