Cant import MKV

I must be doing something wrong here as it looks like a fairly straight forward process to import my MKV movies. I'm looking to dump Infuse if I can get my MKV files to import and play lossless video and audio.

I select the folder where my MKV files are stored and nothing happens. I try "Scan Sources" and nothing..."Idle" continues to be displayed.

Version 2020.12.02.1531on Ubuntu server. I took a screenshot of my folder

. I also have some MKV files that live at the /dvr/dvd folder as well.

Any ideas or troubleshooting steps I can take?

Please submit diagnostics. Also, be sure your movies folder are not under the Channels DVR Server data folder.

Please provide an example full path for your movies. Your directory structure may not be compatible with what the scanner expects right now.

Submitted! Confirmed the Movies folder is not underneath the Channels DVR Server. The movies folder is on a different physical drive.

Your log shows errors:

2020/12/06 10:40:51.470005 [WRN] Scanner ignoring movies path inside DVR folder: /dvr/dvd

Your DVR folder is /dvr so you cannot puts imports in there.

If you want you could make /dvr/Imports and then put more things in there and it will work

Make it /dvr/Imports/Movies

Then put all your movies in there

Then click Scan Sources

Then check the Log tab and see if errors are shown
