Can't record 24: Legacy

Has anyone had an issue recording the new season of 24 on Fox? I have a season pass set to record but none have recorded successfully yet. The 1st episode was on after this super bowl and since it went into over time I figured that’s what caused it to not record. The 2nd episode came on the following Monday and it didn’t record either. My pass is set for “New” episodes only. I checked to see if/when the reruns airs and saw they came on tonight. Set them to record and just checked and the first episode did not record. Checked the log and this is what I see. Any ideas?

Thanks for reporting. It’s because of your NTFS drive. We have some special case for the windows build but it’s not triggering since you are on Linux.

Can you paste the output from http://x.x.x.x:8089/system

I’ve been recording the series without issue.

Here is the output:

Thanks. I will fix this for Monday’s release.

You’re welcome! Thanks for always being awesome. ++

Do you know what causes this show to have a conflict with the drive? Is it the colons in the title or something weird like that? I was just curious since I have a lot of other shows that recorded to it.

Yes the colons are not allowed on NTFS

This is fixed in v2017.02.22.0443. Thanks for reporting.

I was waiting to see if 24: Legacy was going to record tonight and unfortunately it didn’t. I’m getting the same error as before. “Invalid argument…” when I checked the log. Not a big deal but wanted to report back.

Can you post that full log line? Did it still try to put a “:” in the directory name like before?

Here are the full log lines. Yeah, it look like it was still trying to put in the colon.

And just to make sure, what version of the DVR is running?

Ah, looks like I made a typo in my bugfix so this is still broken. Will fix for next release.

I’m running the latest version: 2017.02.23.2046

This bug has been fixed in v2017.03.01.2225. Let me know how it works out for you.
