I added several videos to the Local Content Videos path many days ago and they have yet to show up in the Library.
I've got numerous paths added for Local Content Movies and TV Shows (see screenshot below), but I've tried several ways to get personal videos added to Local Content Videos with no success. Are there special requirements to get this to happen?
I had a similar problem. My solution was to create a folder/subfolder structure. In my case it was on "F:\Movie Files\Subfolder Name". When I did this each subfolder was listed under the Videos section of my client. Hope this helps.
Videos are added via groups, just like tv shows. You need sub folders of videos under your video import directory.
Ex:
/storage/videos/home_videos/christmas.mp4
That did the trick. I wrongly assumed the folder structure would be like movies, but this is much better in terms of organization.
