Can't Submit Diagnostics?

I tried to submit diagnostics but it failed. Any easy fix?

[ERR] Diagnostics submission failed: Put "https://s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/diagnostics.channelsdvr.cloud/ae5c4927-7d34-4cec-be53-cd553b799fa4/dvr.hdhr.10B15329.log?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Credential=AKIA5BWMCXPFMBVC3OPV%2F20250418%2Fus-west-2%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20250418T235713Z&X-Amz-Expires=900&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=content-encoding%3Bcontent-type%3Bhost&X-Amz-Signature=8a7900fc61043205c0183847fb59f7f005dbdaccd5425a0a222772a144ade15d": dial tcp: lookup s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com: i/o timeout

Can I get some feedback from a dev on this? It would be nice to be able to submit diagnostics.

This typically indicates a DNS issue. The internet connection of your computer can not resolve the domain name.

Thank you Maddox! Any tips on how I can fix it? I have the server running on a Synology NAS.

You're going to have to investigate why your personal computer equipment isn't working correctly.

I went through my installed packages in my NAS and turned them off/on one by one and found out it was the Synology OAuth service that was causing the problem. Somehow if was blocking it, no idea how or why.

I won't be able to check to see if I can actually submit diagnostics until I get home where my client is, but I expect it to work now since "Troubleshooting" in CDVR is now all green where before it had a red X.

Never mind, it's not working, seems it was not the OAuth service. Seems to be random on whether or not it will be Cloud Reachable. I can refresh the Troubleshooting page and about 50% of the time it's reachable, and the other 50% it is not. Hmmm......

Recommend changing your dns server on your synology to quad 9. settings should be in with your static ip settings. You may have to disable ipv6 as well.

Thank you for this! Quad9 seems to have done the trick!

How did I not know about this earlier? Living under a rock, I guess. lol

Glad I could help.
