Am trying to use a series pass to record each evening at 7pm 'CBS News Prime Time With John Dickerson' on the CBSNEWS channel (6766). It appears the guide data has every showing identified as episode 6 in season 1. Of course, once the show gets recorded, all subsequent showings are tagged as already recorded and don't get recorded. I assume this is an issue with the guide data provider but I have no clue how to work around this. Any ideas?
Easiest way I can think of is to modify your pass to Re-record deleted episodes (in the Advanced tab).
Once you watch the recording, delete it and empty the trash. It should record again the next day.
The other ways are more difficult and involve setting up a placeholder M3U custom channel or using command line curl to manually schedule recordings.
