CBS from the TVE source is missing a lot of frames when played on a Fire TV. The audio is fine so I assume it's not a buffering issue. All other channels play fine. CBS does play without issues on the Chromecast for Google TV.
Any suggestions?
Same if you go directly from the CBS site?
For me it is ABC and the problem is also on the ABC site.
For CBS, make sure Settings > Playback > Advanced > Video Decoder is set to Hardware
The decoder was the issue. The DVR app on the server was set to use hardware decoding so I assumed the clients would do the same.
