Change not sticking in Manage Lineup

When I go into Settings -> Sources -> Manage and then "Manage Lineup", I have a couple stations that are blank on the right side and a couple that have the wrong station on the right side.

I click on the pencil and then update them to the correct station information.

On the ones that have the wrong station, they keep reverting back to the wrong station after I close the popup listing.

The ones that were blank work fine and keep the corrected channel association. But the others keep going back to the incorrect channel.

Am I missing a step in the process?

thanks,

I'm having this same issue. I have some sub channels that have recently changed affiliations and I thought I could just easily change the guide data on these individual stations, but they always immediately revert back to what they were before. Am I misunderstanding this feature or is something wrong here? Thanks for any help.

EDIT: Here's a little additional info that might help. I'm on one of the recent betas, 2025.05.13.2007.

As an example, one of my locals, 6.2, used to be Dabl, but has now changed to American Crimes. The guide provider still thinks 6.2 is Dabl so all the guide data for this channel is wrong. So I go to sources then to my tuner and choose Manage > Manage Lineup. I scroll down to 6.2 and click the pencil icon. After clicking the gear icon and changing the dropdown to Search All Lineups, I find a listing for American Crimes and choose it. Looking at my list back on the Manage Lineup page I can see the correct logo now next to 6.2.

Now, if I close the Manage Lineup page and end up back on the sources list, then immediately click Manage Lineup again, 6.2 no longer shows the American Crimes logo. It has the X instead of a pencil to show I changed it, but the logo area is blank. Redownloading the guide data immediately reverts it back to Dabl.

I later discovered that there is another nearby channel I don't get that also has American Crimes sub channel. So I repeated the above but instead of clicking the gear icon and changing the dropdown to Search All Lineups, I left it as Search Current Lineup and selected that channel's American Crimes sub channel. Interestingly, if I close the Manage Lineup page and end up back on the sources list, then immediately click Manage Lineup again, 6.2 still shows the American Crimes logo this time. But redownloading the guide data again immediately reverts it back to Dabl.

It turned out that with mine I had my Tablo tuner also setup on Channels and that was confusing it. When I disabled it and only used my HDHomerun tuner the channel name changes stayed.

I’m using Tablo too but as my only tuner. I wonder if Tablo is scanning the channels as well and Channels DVR is picking up its scan rather than any manual changes I’m making.

I found the email reply I got from help, and they said they have discontinued their Beta support for the Tablo tuners.

It could be the Tablo tuner forcing channel information into the system like you are thinking but I don't think there is a way around it.

I was fortunate to have an old HDHomerun tuner to use since the mislabeled channels is one of the things that really annoys me with the Tablo.

HDHomerun sells refurbished tuners on ebay, it might be worth a look.

After digging a little more it looks like two things are happening. 1) Channels is pulling in the Gracenote data that has not been updated to reflect recent changes to some of my local channels. And 2) the server software has thrown in the towel when it comes to dealing with Tablo any more than using its tuners! I don't blame the devs of course after what Tablo has done with their latest devices. I will say that I've never had an issue with CDVR and Tablo integration until this fairly minor issue, so that's pretty impressive for what was a beta feature originally and hasn't been supported in some time.

I've always planned to switch to an HDHR eventually but, as I said, I've never had a really good reason to since the Tablo has always worked perfectly with Channels. I'll probably still kick the can down the road a little longer since this issue isn't a dealbreaker because I assume Gracenote will eventually update their channel listings!

Thanks for your help.
