I use a Shield TV and the fast forward and rewind buttons do the same thing as the right and left navigation buttons (jump forward and back). Would it be possible to make the fast forward button increase the playback speed to the next available speed and the rewind button would drop the speed back down one speed? I am not sure if there are plans to make an actual fast forward and rewind on the Android app but I think this would be a nice shortcut to use in the interim.
