I’m changing providers tomorrow so I want to make sure I switch this out properly. I’m guessing I can delete the HDHR Prime and then rescan the network for the tuner again once the new card is installed correct? And then I need to rescan for the channel listing and set up my passes again. Have I missed a step?
Yep, just scan for channels with the new cable card on your tuner first, using the Channels app or my.hdhomerun.com
Then on the DVR, click Scan For Network to refresh the channels from the HDHR. Then remove and add the HDHR again with the correct cable provider. It should download the new guide data and automatically setup recordings based on your existing passes.
