I've successfully signed up for the Starlink Beta program and paid the deposit. Equipment to ship mid to late 2021 so I have some time.
Until Starlink is out of Beta, I plan to keep my current ISP (Century Link) and set up a load balanced router and use both ISPs. (Century Link runs around 12-15Mb download and .75-1Mb upload. It's slow but at least it's stable. Starlink will be a lot faster but will have interruptions in service.)
Because of my current ISPs low upload speed, I have never tried to remotely access Channels, but I'd like to do this after I've got Starlink going. However the more I read, it looks like Starlink night not be compatible with this feature? Starlink is CGNAT IPv4 only. Honestly I don't understand what this means, but I'm guessing it's bad for remotely accessing Channels.
Any thoughts on this, and anything else I should be considering when I setup Channels on my Starlink connection?
Thank you.
