This is probably a dumb question. I created a Channel Collection so I could hide all the channels I don't want. How do I use that collection for the main guide? I changed it for the Quick Guide and Channel Surfing (not sure what that is) but the main guide still shows all the channels, or I can filter it by Favorites, Sports ect.

You need to assign the Channels Collection to the device(s). Follow the directions here:
Also as part of the Live TV Settings, you can choose to remove the default methods of collecting stations like Favorites, HD, All, etc... Learn more about which ones and what each does here:
That’s exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for the response. So far this product is amazing. It saved me from the horrible interface that is Xfinity Stream.
