Channel guide not loading -- DNS server issue

Newbie here needs some expert help.

Out of the blue my ChannelsDVR stopped loading the viewing guide yesterday (1-12). Since I am paying for the guide subscription I went straight to troubleshooting and discovered that I was having a DNS server issue so I set set out to see if things were fluky on my end. I also sent yesterday's log by email to the support team since I could not send it through the diagnostic link.

I think I've tried everything on my end to resolved the issue -- clear cache, reboot router, etc and I've managed to get the guide to load most channels beginnng at 8pm tonight but if the program goes back to try and load channels again I think I'm going to be back to square one with nothing.

Can anyone tell me what's going on and if the problem lies with me or with the Channels servers? I love the program and I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

Which DNS server are you using? Have you had any problems resolving any other addresses?

I haven't encountered a problem before that I know of or have identified as a DNS issue so I'm trying to be methodical in my steps to resolve.

I have cleared the caches of all my browsers (Google/Safari/Firefox/Arc) -- rebooted my router (an Orbi system that is attached to a very old Verizon modem - could that be part of the problem?) -- started Mac in safe mode -- and tried connecting with my iPad pro's browser. Have I been taking the proper steps?

The best practice (for Channels) is generally to use the ISP-provided DNS servers. Your browsers and other devices won't have any relevance here, just your router and the machine the DVR server runs on.

After changing your DNS server, reset the DVR's connection to ensure it is picking up the proper DNS server from your router. Then from the DVR web UI try to re-download the guide: Settings > Live TV & DVR > Guide Data > Maintenance > Delete and Recreate Database.

If you continue to have issues, check the logs to see what the server is reporting as a problem.

Here is a snippet of my logs from yesterday. Everything was fine until 9:18am yesterday and I can't find the culprit. I am looking everywhere. I do run Channels on a Synology NAS that also runs a Plex server. I saw a few posts showing there might be problems with that configuration - could that be the issue? It was fine until yesterday. Also, my tuner is a legacy Tablo Quad that I've had all kinds of issues with so could that be part of the problem?

DNS problems

Since I'm a newbie at this I'm not sure how to solve it. Suggestions?

Check the dns network settings on your NAS

Thanks for the direction - since I’m still new at some of this I’ll have to do some research but I can say that a guide did download finally yesterday so I can use the app right now. Don’t know how that happened with the errors still showing but I’ll take it and be thankful!
