Channel Logos have disappeared (Australia)

I've noticed recently that all the channel logos (Australia) have disappeared on my ATV4. I have force quite the app and even restarted the ATV but no change.

Any idea what happened to the logos that were previously there?

OLogos and guide data come from SD, so maybe temporary issue in their end.

Try restarting the app?

I have restarted the Channels App, restarted the Apple TV, restarted the HD Home Run Connect and even changed the ‘EPG Source’ to Gracenote, DVB and back again to ‘EPG from Silicon Dust’ and still no logos!

Can you try the HDHR view app and see if it shows logos?

Interesting, no channel logos there either. So this must be something on SD's end then?

FYI I’ve opened a ticket with Silicon Dust (and I suggest others affected also do the same) and after initially wanting some logs I have not heard back from them again.

I also upgraded my HDHomerun Connect firmware to the just released beta2 firmware (from beta1) previously but it made no difference.

My suspicion is that all customers in Australia are probably affected, across all apps that use the SD guide data.

Argghh yes you’re right it has happened again! Only way to get it fixed last time was to get a silicon dust distributor here in Australia to contact SD and get them to fix it. My attempts to put in a support ticket with SD lead to nowhere.

Anything you can do on your end to tell them to look into it again?

Yep they sure did. I don’t know what silicon dust is doing on their server but this is becoming very frequent (and annoying) now.

I am located in Melbourne as well - I have noticed that I now have one logo (ABC HD) which shows up fine on my iPad, but will not show on Apple TV. What would be the cause of this?

Can someone who is affected send to [email protected] the output from http://x.x.x.x/discover.json on their HDHR (replace x.x.x.x with the IP of your hdhomerun)
