Probably asked often, but I assume I can renumber my channels however I like by changing the numbers here:
No, you can’t change numbers there. That is how you can assign guide data if it’s missing or incorrect. It is possible to change channel numbers using custom source and m3u but it’s tedious and not worth it imo.

I guess I'll use the Channels DVR m3u8 as a feed to my Ember Server where it is very easy to customize the channel numbers. For example I changed the local ABC from 6001 to 1007 (Historically Channel 7 forever) in a matter of about 3 seconds.
