Channels API on ATV4K - /api/play/channel/{channel_number}

BACKGROUND

Channel guide will not update channel focus when using API to change channel.

CONFIG

ATV4K tvOS 11.3b5
Channels 3.1.9

STEPS

  1. Use guide to nav and select channel
  2. Use API to change to different channel
  3. Use Apple remote (physical or app), select menu to switch back to guide.
  4. Observe highlighted channel/show did not update to new channel selected using API

If you mean swipe down, yes

Also works if you use on now to select show, then use API to change channel
