For some reason the Channels DVR app disappeared from both of the Apple TVs my parents have. I have them set up for away from home streaming connected to my DVR and it had been working fine. I was able to walk my mother through re-installing the app on both devices, but they don't know enough about it to uninstall it themselves. Was there a new app published recently?
You’d be surprised the trouble people that “don't know enough” can get themselves in to.
Removing the app from devices isn’t something we can even do. Their devices are probably set up to sync the Home Screen, so a deletion on one device would delete it from all of them.

My Dad once said "the dog" somehow got through several layers of his cable menu and changed the language to Spanish and turned on descriptive audio. Uh huh..........
